Often referred to as a “mad scientist” by her colleagues and friends, Tara has always been passionate about a well-balanced cocktail, often pushing boundaries with techniques and flavor pairings. Sugar & Shake was born out of a desire to bring craft-level cocktails to those who prefer to enjoy their libations in the comfort of home.

Tara lives in Tennessee with 4 of her 5 children (the oldest is 21), and when she’s not behind the stick you can find her backpacking, hitting the gym, traveling, or on the other side of the bar enjoying a refreshing beverage.
